John Caltagirone is currently Vice President and Global Practice Leader of Supply Chain Strategy for The Revere Group, and previously held the position of Senior Vice President, Chief Logistics and Operations Officer for Peapod, Inc., where he was responsible for distribution services, inventory management, purchasing, transportation management, logistics engineering and customer service. Mr. Caltagirone has also held senior management positions with the following companies: Rand McNally, RR Donnelley & Sons, Baxter Healthcare and Ryder Integrated Logistics. Mr. Caltagirone is a member and past president of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, Chicago Roundtable and executive committee member. In 2005, the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals awarded Mr. Caltagirone, the first ever Life Time Achievement Award, for advancing Supply Chain Management Education through film. He is a former board member of the American Production and Inventory Control Society, a current member of the Warehouse Education and Research Council (WERC), and a former member of the Supply ? Chain Council, where he served on the Supply Chain Operations Research Technical Steering Committee. He holds a bachelor?s degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance from Loyola University Chicago.
