Thomas Sutliff is the founding partner of the Peer Review Group; a consulting consortium focused on enhancement of productivity and profitability though independent technical review of product development activities. He also is the Director of the Masters in Medical Biotechnology Program and a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Services University of Illinois?s College of Medicine at Rockford. Dr. Sutliff retired from Baxter Healthcare Corporation after 18 years where he most recently served as Senior Technical Director for Materials and Corporate University Technology Liaison. His career at Baxter focused on leading research on, development and technical support of engineering polymer systems and biopolymers for medical devices and drug delivery systems. Prior to Baxter, Dr. Sutliff worked in the base polymer and organic coatings industries. He received his Doctorate in Physical Organic Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University in 1970. Dr. Sutliff is active in local civic affairs; he has served as a trustee of the Village of Oakwood Hills for over 18 years and is a founder of the Friends of the Cary Area Library.
