Carl R. Smith is Vice President of Engineering and Manufacturing for Defensive Systems Division Electronics Systems at Northrop Grumman Corporation. Mr. Smith has over 20 years of knowledge and experience in product development including design, analysis, manufacture, process development system integration, environmental testing and engineering product management of miniaturized, state-of-the-art military electronics. He joined Northrop Grumman Corporation in 1984 immediately upon graduation from Michigan Technological University with a B.S.M.E. In 1988, he earned his M.B.A. in Research and Engineering Management from Illinois Institute of Technology.
